A well documented and highly coveted Gianni Versace 'I Ventagli'  print sculpted silk strapless mini dress dating back to his iconic 1991 spring-summer collection. Versace’s creations were enjoyed by the super wealthy but his impact was felt across a wider section of society. Stylistically accessible and instantly recognizable, Versace’s fearless designs came to epitomize the 1990's. This seductive show-stopper was featured on Christy Turlington both on the runway and in Versace's ad campaign. The gorgeous garment features vibrant, signature 'I Ventagli' baroque fan print in almost every color of the rainbow. The strapless sweetheart bodice has three large filigree gold metal buttons adorned with shimmering black rhinestones. I love the nipped waist, bell skirt with two hip bustle fold-over flap pockets. The back has a fantastic wide quilted strap which works so well with the design. The workmanship is wearable art at it's finest.
